Over the past few months Tustone has been working with Luton Foodbank to try and help support the local community – something that the whole team feels very strongly about and an integral part of our mission.
The Luton Foodbank offers emergency food aid to people with nowhere left to turn. It provides respite by supplying a nutritional non-perishable food parcel with enough food for three days, thus allowing time for people to deal with the cause of their food crisis whilst offering help to resolve problems.
Donations from individuals and organisations are a lifeline that ensure the Luton food bank is there for those in need.
We’ve helped the Foodbank by committing our time and services to them free of charge – providng our ‘Managed IT support Service’ and IT consultancy as well as helping them to get their new server up and running. We’ve also donated a new PC and system upgrades to make their IT work for them – so they can focus on the vital work they deliver in the community.
